In the Grand Canyon town Tusayan, Arizona USA we joined the Rotary Club „Grand Canyon“ on its weekly meeting on Monday, 12.10 p.m. With 13 members it is a smaller club however very engaged in community work and projects.
We were astonished to learn how many important projects they accomplish. The town and club is not only worth a visit due to the location (6,5 Million Tourists visit The Grand Canyon every year as Town Manager Eric tells us) but also due to the welcoming and amazing Rotarians the club has. The president Sue gave us a warm welcome and the possibility to speak about our project Hiking4Haiti.
Without hesitation we were rewarded with spontaneous donations of the members. Thank you guys for your support!!
We are sad to leave this wonderful town and rotarian friends.
